Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: Inverary Golf Course

The spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Ontario and around the world has raised concerns for everyone in these trying times. Inverary Golf Course values the well-being of our staff and customers. We want you to know that your health & safety will remain our top priority as this situation continues to evolve.

The Inverary Golf Course is following the lead of public health authorities and doing our part to limit the spread of the virus.


Here are the steps we are taking:

  • Only players who have booked tee-times online or over the phone are permitted on the property. Please no walk-ins

  • We are asking players to please be no more than 10 min early for their tee-time. If you arrive earlier  please wait in your vehicle

  • Practice greens may be used by the next group on the tee, no more than 10 min before their tee time. Maximum four people at a time.  

  • Patio is open for food and beverage

  • Single riders for power carts are available

  • Requiring our employees to stay home if they feel unwell or if they have been in contact with anyone that is exhibiting flu-like symptoms

  • Increased cleanliness of our facilities especially in high traffic areas

  • Disinfect all power carts and pull cart between use

  • Notices throughout our facility for customers and employees to use caution and practice best hygiene methods to prevent the spread of the virus

  • Made adjustments to the rules to ensure your health and safety (see below)

  • Sand trap rakes and ball washers have been removed from the course. Preferred lies in the bunkers.

Here are the things we need you to do:

  • Only two golfers to enter the pro-shop at a time, please follow signage for waiting outside to enter

  • Please arrive no more than 10 min before your tee time to allow for social distancing in and around the pro shop

  • Do not remove the flag or touch the cup (cups will be modified)

  • Please do not use the benches on the course

  • Bring along sanitizer for your hands and a towel for you ball


If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 please notify us that you are canceling your tee time:

  • fever

  • cough

  • difficulty breathing

  • muscle aches

  • fatigue

  • headache

  • sore throat

  • runny nose

  • vomiting and diarrhea

In addition, you must notify us that you are canceling your tee time if you have;

  • Had close contact with individuals who are suspected of having COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19, or

  • Traveled within the last 14 days
